Fast or slow. Our shipping rebates above are based on regular mail service,
which can often be painfully slow overseas. (We love Canada for many
reasons, the speed of its postal service NOT being one them.) You may want to
chooser a faster shipping method; if so, talk to us, we'll work with you
to make it as affordable as possible.
Shipping Details For Retail Customers
How long?
Other than specially marked items, you should receive your package within 10 days, often sooner.
We will send it through Canada Post. Please note that it could take up to 14 days to receive your package, more for international packages.
International customers may face import duty charges upon delivery. Customs import regulations and fees vary from country to country and can be dependent on type of product and country of origin.
Restrictions
Due to our current insurance regulations we are unable to ship body products to the US. However the bulk of our products - clothing, bags, accessories - are not a problem. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Special requests
If you have a special shipping request or need something shipped express, please include a note with your order and we will try to accomodate.
Shipping charges on rope and twine
Because rope and twine are very heavy for their value, rope and twine don't qualify for our free shipping offer - they have a shipping charge on a case-by-case basis.You can complete your order at checkout, and before shipping we will contact you directly for a separate Paypal payment to cover the actual shipping costs.
Returns and exchanges.
We want you to love what you ordered, but if it's really the wrong size, colour or just not what you like, we'll do our best make it work for you.
We appreciate that you don't have the ability to try on our garments online in the same way our in-store customers do, so we're happy to accept online returns within 30 days for ANY reason provided the item is returned unworn, in perfect condition, with proof of purchase, and with tags attached.
You pay for your return shipping. For exchanges, free shipping does not apply. However, we give you a reduced flat rate of $12 shipping for exchanges. ($15 for US.)
Sorry, we don't allow returns or exchanges on discounted or sale items.
14 Day Money Back.
We do offer a 14-day full money back guarantee on all regular priced items - minus any needed shipping adjustments. This means your shipping charges are adjusted to the amount they would have been if we had only shipped what you kept. This is because our shipping charges decrease with the size of your order.
An example:
If you placed a $200 order, which qualifies for free shipping (within Canada and the US), and you return $150 of your order, your remaining order is now $50. A $50 order would have a $15 shipping charge, so your refund would be $150 (full value of the goods) minus $15 shipping adjustment for a total refund of $135.
30 Day Credit or Exchange.
If you decide you don't want something within 30 days, we offer you an exchange or credit in the store or from our site. It will cost you an additional $12 ($15 in US) to have your replacement item shipped to you. However, if you get an exchange, and order another package that qualifies for reduced or free shipping, we will include your exchange item in the same package, and ship it all for free or reduced shipping.
We do not accept exchanges or returns on underwear or body products, food or magazines, for obvious reasons. No returns or exchanges on discounted or sale items.
OOPS, damaged goods.
It is always our intention to get you your products in good order, but accidents do happen. In the interests of reducing waste, if we can fix your product easily and for a reasonable cost, we'll pay for that and avoid extra shipping back and forth. Please email us a picture of the damage, and we can discuss the options.
Not fixable? We will replace it, send you a refund, or give you a credit. And if it's our error, we'll also pay the shipping to get a replacement to you as soon as possible.
