WOW! Simply the best socks ever.
Made for kids by kids. Thermohair Mohair socks are made in Canada and are made from Kid Mohair, which is the first hair sheared from a young kid ( goat).
What makes the Still Eagle staff so passionate about Thermohair socks? This particular hair is very fine and soft, the most luxurious and expensive of the mohair grades. The finished socks are knit in a looped sequence for cushioning, Not only are they soft and elegant and fuzzy, Mohair is renowned for its warmth, strength, lustre, durability, and easy care, making it an ideal fibre for your feet. It is not a wool and is fully machine washable.
Mohair is an amazing renewable resource, as goats can live on land that many other livestock cannot. They are sheared twice a year, and grow hair, not wool, which is super warm without being itchy for your child's ( and your) feet.
Whew! I didn't even know you could say so much good stuff about a pair of socks. "These are my favorite socks ever!" says Jen," They are just so warm, and soft, and keep you warm even when they're wet."
From toddler size 12 to a child's size 3, these socks are made with the same yarn as our original adult Thermohairs with the addition of spandex for super stretch to allow the sock to grow with the child. Also in adult sizes!
